The BYOM Potluck Cookout (the easiest way to entertain this summer).

0 · Jun 5, 2015 · 2 Comments

I have a wonderful friend named Julie who is the creative mind behind the amazing Happy Home Fairy blog. She has lots of fun and totally doable ideas – perfect for the crafty and uncrafty alike! (Check out this adorable free printable for Father’s Day!) She’s also one of the best sources if you need some encouragement in your mom-ing (like in this post – “Things I Wasn’t Prepared for About Motherhood” – and can I also add: the continual crustiness of the high chair and my inability to care about it).

Julie graciously invited me to contribute something to her community of readers, so I’m super excited to be posting over there today! I would love for you to head over to Happy Home Fairy to read all about the BYOM Potluck Cookout!

So crazy, I stumbled across her blog the other day because I was on pinterest looking for pumping tips (my supply likes to dip randomly and freak me out) and you know her!
Also, I like this BYOM idea. It’s like a sneaky way of making your guests do half the cooking.

About Me

Hey, I’m Bet! I love food and welcoming family and friends to the table with it. This is where I share what we’re eating – mostly “real”, family-friendly, doable dinners, plus breakfast foods, snacks, and of course, my favorite homemade sweet treats. I love to meal plan, hoard freezer meals, and include my girls in the cooking process as much as I can (while still preserving a little sanity). Thanks for visiting – I hope you find some new favorite recipes here!
