8 Creative Ways to Use 5-Minute Basil Pesto.

0 · Jul 22, 2016 · 6 Comments

So clearly I’m really hoping you made some five minute basil pesto, because I have some serious pesto inspiration for you today. My last batch ended up stirred into pasta with some sweet cherry tomatoes, and we had enough left to slather it on a pizza with mozzarella cheese and big tomato slices…

…but there are so many creative ways to use pesto! The punch of flavor from fresh herbs, garlic, and Parmesan cheese instantly adds so much complexity to any dish. I wanted to think outside my pasta + pizza comfort zone, and I love these ideas from some fellow food bloggers.

Thanks Blair! I’m jealous of your basil crop, I keep having to wait for enough leaves to do a pesto batch! ;o)

I tried the Italian Baked Chicken with a no-nut pesto, and it was so tasty! I doubled the diced tomatoes bc that’s the size can I had, and would do that again.
